I dont have any control on the ads, YPN shows random ads sometimes.

I'm not using any hidden text or meta tags. Feel free to look at the code.

I'm going to help you out here. PM me your control panel information and I'm going to check everything out and report back here. I have a good reputation, you don't have to worry. You can change the information when I'm done. I'm not a potential buyer, I have no personal interest in your site, just helping you out because you're not getting the response you deserve, if all of your information is true.

I am interested in your website, but I would like to see some unique user stats. Can you pm me access to your cpanel or statcounter acct? I, too, am curious why the alexa ranking is not higher.

It wouldn't be very smart of you to pass out your control panel information to just anyone.. find someone with a good reputation, lots of posts, and some iTrader.

I'm going to bed but feel free to PM me the information and I'll check everything out in the morning. If you don't want me to do this for you, that's fine too.

It probably wouldn't be wise to give out this info to just anyone. However, I am interested in this website and I definitatly need some more info.

Yep. That's why an established member of DP will check everything out, and report back here with the findings. Nothing personally against you, it's just standard practice to do it this way. It's one of the few things we as a community can do to protect buyers and sellers.

I have a STRONG feeling you were running pictures next to those ads and removed them before this sale, There is NO way that with that ad position you where making that revenue, with that traffic,

You hardly have any pages indexed as well, and even have the stock meta tag from phpas ,

I am not trying to bash this thread, BUT I have seen many good dp members get scammed

As you can see in this table, below it looks like there were pictures there , cause I even see spacers

Just my opinion , I dont see any truth in this sale at all

Oh and 58 posts 0 feedback......

    Interesting find Sundaybrew :)

After doing more research, he has absolutely no references, links, or anything, ANYWHERE. He said he spent $230 on Adwords, so that means he turned $230 worth of Adwords visitors into $1,300 of YPN clicks?

I'll be interested if he lets anyone login to check stuff out for themselves.

    sundaybrew,
I had images next to my ads back in august and september but they asked me to remove them. I was making far more than $900 at that time.

    PayItForward,
I just sent you a PM.

I remote desktopped to his computer. He let me check through his YPN/Stats, everything.

He hasn't used pictures next to his ads in two months. He was getting 1-2% CTR with images, he gets less than 1% but sometimes as much as 1% CTR without images. The revenue stayed the same though, because his traffic has been increasing.

His YPN showed a really good avg CPC($0.70 to $1.10). A small percentage of his visitors came through Google Adwords but it looks like word of mouth took over, he gets a lot of direct visitors(people pasting links to friends in MSN, AIM, etc.)

He didn't have much luck with Adsense for this site but it seems to be working extremely well with YPN.

His Alexa stats could be lower, but they aren't, and everyone knows Alexa only works if you have the toolbar. No big deal really.

I couldn't find anything that made me not believe anything he has said in this thread. This site is easily worth 5k-10k if you keep using YPN on it. As of early in the morning on Dec. 6th, he was at about $200+ for the month(and his Adwords campaign has been stopped for a while now). Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Hopefully everyone will believe me now. I will show my stats again to the highest bidder.

Highest bid is $620 from a sitepoint member.

    1000$ here.
Payitforward; Wondering if you couldn't expand that into some kind of certified (but not guaranteed) opinion on a sale.
Sort of like consumer reports. They pay you a fee, you certify it to the best of your knowledge and they get higher priced sales, wwhile buyers relax a little.

What are the requirements to host a site like that? I've never messed with the arcade stuff so I'm not familiar if you point to the games elsewhere, thus leeching their bandwidth/disk, or do you serve them locally?

Do you have to maintain the lists of games/sources (assuming they are remote) or does the script you bought do that (ie. what happens if something disappears or changes URLs?)

    Thanks,
    Mike

    footodors is the highest bidder.

    micsaund,
You need around 15 - 20gb bandwidth per month and 500 mb webspace. Games are hosted on my server, you can easily add more games if you want to.

just got in from work and saw this thread. I'm a 57 year old who bought a site from this guy about a year ago. He was completely honest with me about it and helped me in every way he could. I hate to see him being trashed. He's not the bad guy here.

    Agreed.

Everything he said, that people doubted(including myself), ended up being totally true.
