Hello I'm currently the owned of the website You'll Shit Bricks and I'm wondering what best type of advertising I should do to generate profit. I already tried Adbrite (only 20 cents/day) and I'm currently working with Adultfrienfinder(5cents/day) but I just think this is to low for a website with 500-800 unique visitors/day... So could anyone help me how I could increase the profit of my website? Kind regards Tom
I'd suggest two things. First, you can improve placement of the adbrite ads. Also consider using their full page takeover product. It could increase your conversions slightly. Second, you need to increase your traffic. Generous click through rates (CTR) for a website are around 1% of traffic. Given that you're website has 500-800 visitors, your click through rate to Adbrite is probably 5-8 clicks per day. Adbrite pays .02-.04 per click. So your .20 cents per day seems in line with your traffic. Adsense has a higher per click payout, but doesn't allow sites with adult content. What have you done so far to get your traffic up to current levels?
