Do forum profiles pass page rank (profiles, not signatures)? Does it make sense to create 100 profile pages at social networking sites, forums, etc. with a dofollow link or is this basically wasted time? I think I have my own answer: that if you comment on high PR forum topics then this will pass rank to your profile. But I'm wondering if just creating a dofollow link on a profile page will have some PR effect.
Any link has an affect, I think what you need to look at is how long this takes compared to other methods. I mean if you need to e-mail verify each signup and then customize it. Then you want the link to count for something so you have to vote on some stories and build a backlink or two to each profile. Wouldn't making on comment on a do follow blog post with decent PR take about 1/50th of the effort?
do follow = worth it. no follow= waste of time. The anchor text of the link has just as much to do with the quality of the BL as the site its on.
I dont think they pass PR . But they dont even harm you . Just try all the things you dont know which method works for you
I dont think so, it will hep by signature only if its dofollow. And alos profile considered by only the forum owner and the clients, if good profile will get more respond and will see your post
