profile picture

    Hi,

    I set a big profile picture in face book (180x540) but in home page its showing like very small thumbnail , i dunno how to set actual size , pls help me in this ...

    Yes. Your profile picture must be at least 180 pixels wide. If you are unsure of whether or not your picture meets this requirement, you can right-click on the picture to see the photo properties, which should include the photo dimensions (e.g., 100x91 would be too small). If you can’t find the photo’s dimensions, try uploading the picture and assigning it as your profile picture.

    when u upload the pic... try and customize the size.... it should help...

    When you select a pic to use as profile picture, the next page where you will need to confirm, you will need to crop to your prefered size. This may not work if you are using phone to upload. All you need is crop to your prefered size.

    try resizing the same picture first before you upload it again. MS picture manager can resize your picture easily.

    Well as per my knowledge, you cannot change the image size of the picture which displays on your homepage. That is the fixed size set by facebook itself. However you can change the picture size, which is displayed on your profile page by using the cropping service given by facebook ;)

    Your page is a personal page for your own. The Digital Point example you used is a fanpage. That is not a personal page like your own Facebook page to talk to friends and family.
