Profile in forum links count?

what do mean by seo attributes??

 

Will be counted but m doubted on the link juice from it...

 

Forums help, especially on topic forums.

 

How do you guys get a "recent blog" link by your avatar? Is this option limited just for blogs or can we also use it as an extra link to our website????

Having read this thread, I've now put a link to our website in the Home Page URl section of my profile but am not sure if this is what you're all talking about.

 

I think it counts if the forum is dofollow...

 

yes they count in most cases, but not so authoritive if theres just a link there and not much info, so ass lots of info to the page so that it gets spidered and is not just a blank profile page with a link on it

Although Profile in forum link may help but not in a big way...

 

i think it help alot when your a high ranked member and lots of friends...

My experience is that links in forums do help. Also that although much is made of the "nofollow" attribute, that I have noticed my websites still gets a boost in ranking when get links from other websites and blogs that use this attribute

 

Yeah they certainly helps, infact profile links has more importance than sig. links which i observed.

 

why is sig less important??
