    profile links are junk and spam. At last search engines understand it and discard them. Phew.

    I agree with Praetserge. Most of these types of links are a waste of time despite what some say to the contrary. Now that they have become popular, numerous sites are being spammed daily with them.

    Profile links are just links in profiles, its that simple! For example when you sdign up to certain websites you get to make a bio, and are able to add a backlinks! Some profile backlinks can add pr, if you comment around the website, assuming that your profile name is dofollow that is!
