I'm pretty sure Kink that you just got yourself banned. Giving a negative iTrader without doing business with a user will lead to account termination. What do you think Rep is for?
Kink is a scammer. I hired him to design a layout for http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=8506799#post8506799 . Initially he told me that if I didnt like his work he would give me a refund. It took him 3 days to show me anything significant, at which point I asked for a refund. He promptly went offline and I am now pursuing a claim on paypal with him. DO NOT USE KINKS SERVICES. I will leave a negative itrader once my claim has been resolved.
I have also had issues with this person, he wanted $100 up front, I said I was happy to give $50, I am now putting a paypal claim in I waited days to see something that would have took me 10mins max to do, I was then told on many occassions that I would see this really good design, but nothing ever came of it,
Sounds exactly like what happened to me. Thankfully paypal refunded me the full amount. KINK IS A SCAMMER. He should be permanently banned.
Given he had a negative iTrader for scamming, why did you pay upfront to him? Just have to be more careful, lots more people taking upfront payment and running.

Actually he asked for a deposit. I think that is normal practice in the web development world. He seemed trustworthy and a good designer. I will know better in the future. P.S Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Well as buyers you have the right to be cautious, however as a designer I will only worked with people who agree to a 50/50 payment agreement. I think that if anyone worked with Kink, and gave him money, then you almost deserved to be ripped off because you over looked his iTrader rating. When someone has only done 1 job and he has received a negative rating, then it's only common sense to not work with him. Right? Furthermore, he doesn't own a portfolio which is another thing to look into. 99% of designers will make an online portfolio and not be worried about showing it to the public. Users who don't have one usually have something to hide.
To those scammed, this guy is the same person. I have plenty of proof so feel free to PM me if you want some (I've contacted a DP mod regarding the duplicate account, haven't heard back yet). Good luck getting your money back!
