I seem to have some time on my hands at the moment so maybe I can help. First, a little bit about me. I am a native US citizen, with English being my native language. I have 11 years of US Naval experience, four of which were spent teaching teaching basic and advanced electronics. Plumbers Arms

The Plumberâ€™s Arms has the unworthy distinction of being many touristsâ€™ favorite pub in Belgravia. This is due to a number of factors including the secret upstairs room, the heavy wine pours, the rather inexpensive drinks, and the droll artwork of various plumbing related activities on the walls. Itâ€™s also heated very well. Be warned, if youâ€™re not into the suit and tie after work crowd, you wonâ€™t be into the Plumbers.

The Ebury

The Ebury maintains an unexpectedly down to earth vibe in what appears to be an unarguably top notch classy environment. After initially glancing from the fireplace to the chandelier, you may be concerned this is not your type of establishment, however, if you take the time to pull up a chair at the bar you will be converted. As most tourists put it Ebury is two cocktail straws up.

The Victoria

The big fish and chips are enough for two, which is always nice with todayâ€™s economic situation. Emphasis is definitely on the pub and not the food, however, but it is a nice enough local pub to have a pint with the suit and tie set after work and get a feel of the London crowd.

Noodle Noodle

Sometimes if you need a noodle fix youâ€™ll try anything, even Noodle Noodle. The pub has had some pretty terrible reviews but it is a very decent pub. Not surprisingly, they serve all types of noodles. Mostly of the Chinese variety but they also have some Japanese and Thai styled dishes. The portions are huge and the service was fast.

The Phoenix

Have lunch in the upstairs room which is beautifully. The wine is fine, the pasta is good, the light was excellent, and the service is not bad. This pub is located just around the corner from Buckingham and tucked down a side street. They also allow pets in.

The Thomas Cubitt

This is a nice if somewhat over priced pub. They offer really nice cocktails, but they are quite expensive. The Fallen Leaves cocktail comes highly recommended. The fish and chips are good but not the best. They do, however, wrap the lemon in cheesecloth so you donâ€™t get any pulp on your fish. Get there early if you want a table.

The Shakespeare

It is one of the tackiest pubs in Belgravia. The pub is usually overrun by drunks, and on any given morning it seems thereâ€™s always at least one puddle of vomit on the sidewalk outside, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Lâ€™Arco Restaurant

L'Arco is a decent Italian restaurant in Belgravia. The food is not great but is okay. The wine is somewhat overpriced. The staff was nice but the place was a ghost town at lunchtime. It is a good spot for the after theater tourist crowd, but most others probably wouldnâ€™t be interested.
