Professional web dev company, anyone?

    Hello,

So far I have seen a number of dirt cheap webdev "companies" run probably by students and that don't know their job very well. I won't search in these "freelance" online marketplaces anymore. I was dissapointed 3 times. I didn't lose money but I lost my time (ok, time is money :))

Do you know a professional web dev company that works with the highest standards (clean and optimized code), with the LAMP stack and Ajax? It has to be a company 100% internet-based that works with a broker for the payment, it can be from anywhere in the world, but I'd prefer from northern America, northern Europe, eastern Europe, Russia or Northern Asia. A portfolio is necessary.
    Thanks in advance.

This is not the right section mate.

Try the design/services/programming section for a better response and an infractionless thread ;)

I own an IT company and I actually take projects on a freelance site ;) and have no problem with that one as there is an escrow system and a dispute system inside as well.
    try a fourth time!
    What do you need exactly?

Problem with the job bidding thing is that most people do not give enough details to form an accurate quote. But I do agree though that there are too many fake coders out here who read a quick tutorial and call themselves gurus. Makes it hard for us that know our trades. I have 10 years REAL experience and I get outbidded by little kids and then when the customer gets screwed, they come crying to me to make it all better, but on a lower budget since they spent all of their damn money on the little kid.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I don't play that game. Leave them being screwed with kiddy programmers, they've been warned. I ask how much it is, I pay if I can afford it, otherwise I wait a few months and come back when I have the money. I just ask for quality first, and price comes second :)

    Ok,

Hitting you up....even I have more work that I can handle ATM...

On a side note it is interesting how people believe that the price is important. While it certainly is, the quality comes first, I mean if you create a site that does not meet the minimum standard of the market then you just wasted some money as the site does not have success... Unfortunately I see this all the time - just look at the "Sites forum" where 90% of the sites are garbage - I mean people really think that if they buy a domain and throw a wordpress on it they can be instantly rich (they have read this on an e-book that guaranteed them that!!!!). And of course when this does NOT happen they try to sell the site here...

definitely, some people believes on prise, but they lose quality, they should look for quality work, also lot of people are working on very cheap prise, this is a main reason of bad quality work, clients should realize it.
