I'm currently making my own custom template for my directory, and I need a logo designed for it. The winner will get $35. I am looking for something slightly more than just a logo, so read the few points below : -I'm looking for a professional logo, but also an idea, which I'll try to explain. I'm looking to give the directory a "theme", and I will incorporate it in the whole template. For instance, I was thinking of adding flower decals or extensions around all the boxes in the template to give it that sort of theme. Not pretty pink roses (ha), but detailed graphics that are kind of wrapped around the menu or branched out from the corners, etc. So I'm looking for a theme in which to incorporate throughout the whole template. You don't have to add flowers or do that kind of theme if you have your own idea. The winner will be not the person with just the best logo, but with the best theme idea . -colors will follow this palatte. -click here to get somewhat of a very brief outline of the template. I've only worked on it for under an hour, and as you can see it looks like crap. The colors will probably be changed around etc, it's just what I threw up there. The only thing that will remain there is probably the menu. -make the header average size, it doesn't have to fit in the white space in the link above, I'll be moving that around. Ok now for the actual title, it will be Infinity Directory. The title now is Infinity Web Directory (www.infinitywebdirectory.com), but I'm cutting out the "web". You may include the optional tagline "Your gateway to the infinite web." But like I said, that's optional, and if the header/logo looks better without it, cool. This contest will run probably a month long, unless I find something I really like and just end the contest. So plan on the contest ending around the beginning of January. I'v found this Symbol I have many ready symbols + can search on google some. I think its legally if its on google search . I'm working now on a web 2.0 logo for you.

tbtb, your logo is pretty good, but the text looks generic. i know you didnt ask for my opinion, but thats how you get better.
The entries are alright so far, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for some custom made graphics and effects, not symbols you can find on google, I can do that sort of stuff . I'm just looking for a step up from that.

CHANGE IN RULES You don't have to go with the colors I suggested. I'm trashing that layout and starting from scratch again, and I'll be looking to pick a new color theme. I'll have feedback for entries soon as well.
