Seeking a talented writer to create fresh, quality content on an occasional basis. The work will be on a freelance basis, can be done from home, and could be for anything between 5-15 hours a week. Must be reliable and able to produce content on a regular basis - no pfaffing about with excuses. Long term position.

Content will be varied and include articles on a range of subjects, websites copy, press releases, proposals etc. You may also be required to proofread work before publication. All non-fiction.

Payment dependent on ability, experience, professionalism and what you can bring to the table. Starts from US $45.00 per hour upwards.

English must be your mother tongue or/and you must have been born and raised in a country or province where English is the most widely spoken language. You may be based anywhere in the world.

You must have good spelling and grammar, and excellent literary skills.

Please email results [at] azam.net with your name, email address and telephone numbers. Please detail writing courses you have done and places where your writing has been published. You should also include two pieces of your writing of at least 500 words long each and a 75-150 word composition on why you should be considered for a freelance writing position.

NOTE: Not one applicant has bothered to apply for the vacancy in the manner clearly specified, so if you are able to follow basic guidelines, you have a better chance of being hired than anybody else.

Has the position been filled? Or are you still considering applicants?

Thank you to everybody who has sent in their applications.

We will accept applications until 4 June, 2008, 12 midnight GMT.

As there has been quite a number of people who have expressed an interest, it will take us a while to go through the emails. We will contact the shortlisted writers 10-14 days after the deadline.
