    Hey there!

Does anyone know how professionall backup does look like? I mean if a I am running a blog and community, what's the best ways to save everything? I usually downloaded all ftp files and the mysql, then burned it on a cd.

Hope some of you can help here!
    Markus

Your control panel may have a backup option too.

    Hi,

Well, there are many ways to take backups. If you have cpanel, you can generate full backup and can download to your local machine, that is one of the ideal way to have a backup of your site. Either way, if your host provides additional backups service, you can signup for that..

    Thanks

Generally, many of the hosting providers, do provide free weekly backups.

But, it is always wise to have a backup copy of your data on your pc too..

I think it's already a good idea to download your files and mysql db to your personal pc.
So you have always a backup of your website.
