Personally I dont think the color scheme works well mate.. especially the dark red back ground. The sites navigation isn't ideal with your keyboard arrow key navigation set up....

Just my 2 cents :) hope it helps...

Design seems pretty amateurish. It's hard to give a rating because in the context of professional web-design, this is probably a 0/10. Pretty much everything can be better.

First off, pretty much everything is violated. You're using a gimmick that's completely unnecessary. It works very poorly on my dual-core laptop. Fonts, text, and everything has the 12-year-old-making-his-first-angelfire-site feel to it. Imagines don't look professional...etc.

What was nice was the intro. Text was nice and the way it looked was nice.

It seems to me like you just went "Out there" and made yourself a site however you want to. Although this is commendable, there are certain rules about font color, size, headers...etc. These rules are there not to restrict you, but simply because they really work well and produce beautiful sites. Keep practicing, and spend time looking at successful developer's works and style. Gain knowledge, and most importantly keep making sites.

But if this is one of the first websites you're building, not bad.
