I'm starting to get seriously burnt out on affiliate marketing after two months... I'm extremely discouraged. I've read posts everywhere about how many people are making xxx amount of money and how they promote their products or drive traffic to their sites, but the missing link is WTF ARE THEY SELLING? I can't find anything from clickbank that converts to sales without losing money on running ads on either google or myspace. I have other projects to work on but it is killing me that I can't make a profit when so many people are saying how easy it is or how amazed they are that people can;t make money doing this. It's almost like I'd be better of putting my money into the %$#@! stock market while it's crashing. Can anyone point me to a resource that details conversion rates for products or any resource that details how to predict what products sell?
I believe many Health products sell. I own incentive companies and have noticed that the health campaigns are the ones that convert the best and are the most popular. The affiliates I use have a good amount of them so you can check them out for the health campaigns. Let me know if you need any help!
A lot of people will tell you that they are making thousands online only to convince you to buy their secret method (e-book) Actually they are making money by selling this e-book which describes how to sell it to others again and again I wouldn't recommend you to listen to such scammers Choose a product that you know people need and it's high demand on it. Create a review site around it and drive more traffic The weight loss products are selling hot these days - you can give them a try
I totally understand what you're saying and don't blame you, at all. I like to say that I've been doing affiliate marketing since 1/1/08 but I dabbled a little prior. Month after month my profits really were stagnent at around $800(ish). 2 months ago all of my retail converting campaigns just died (economy woes). I didn't give up. I made more landing pages, invested more $ in ppc and I'm happy to say that for the first time EVER, I just passed $5,000, with an ROI of 246%. Don't look at this market as nobody wants to spend, look at it as an opportunity. Good luck! Hate to say check out my blog (Getting By), but check it out. I will be updating it soon... as soon as I can catch my breath. There's tons of information there that should help you out.
Don't get discouraged About a year ago I had a rather poplar webmaster website but I sold it, one of the offers I used from CJ was godaddy. I made about 1k a month with them It all depends on your niche Good luck
