Website intro:

ProductRaffle, like the name suggests, is a raffle site. The initial idea was to simply make it a one time raffle site, where the user would pay $1-$3 for a raffle ticket and then that would be it. But the idea changed, because of the interest we were able to get in a subscription like raffle. So as it is setup right now, the user get's their first raffle ticket for $1 and they enter whatever raffle that initally got them into the game. Then for all recurring months after their first signup, they will be billed $4 to automatically be entered into the upcoming raffle(s). That way the amount of raffle contenders is already known and all new singups are just a bonus. Thus it is easier to figure out how big the value of the prizes can go, as you would already know the next months raffle earnings.

Why are you selling this site?

The website was made as a side project and there hasn't been sufficient time to actually start it yet. Because of the lack of time for this project, the decision has been made to sell it off, to someone who can give it it's full potential.

How is it monetized?

Monthly and sign up payments for raffles.

Does this site come with any social media accounts?

Yes a Facebook account, with 1922 followers.

How much time does this site take to run?

A couple of hours a week, the majority of time is spent on marketing and answering potential questions. The raffles run automatically and each user who gets signed up does so automatically. So the time spent on the site, all depends on how much work you want to put into the marketing.

What challenges are there with running this site?

Getting a proper payment gateway, who will allow gambling/gaming offers on a subscription basis. Up until lately Stripe has been used, however as Stripe has become more strict they no longer allow gambling offers. A new gateway implemented could be SecurionPay as they accept gambling payments.

Growth potential:

For ProductRaffle, there could be many ways of promoting it, however there are two different advertising methods of which would fit best and of which it is prepared for.
First method, is through Facebook "viral" share posting. A post has been tested and made, which has the potential of going viral by shares. This could be a great method, as it is pretty much free, if you are able to get some "big" users to share it.
The other advertising method, is push notification ads. This is a relatively new market and thus the prices per click are very cheap even for all tier 1 countries. On top of that the price for the Raffle is a perfect fit for the users, who usually get targeted by push notification ads.
With push ads it should be possible to grow the subscriptions substantially. A usual CPC is around $0.035 - $0.058 for US traffic, this means with a starting budget of $200 it should be possible to get around 4301 visitors. With an average conversion rate of 3% that would be a total of $516 in new recurring payments every month. Using those estimates with an increased budget it should be possible to scale into making tens of thousands if not more in recurring payments.
