Product Search Rank Dropping, Help!

    I was #1 in Google for 5-10 of my main keywords. I have been building backlinks more lately (not more than about 10 a day) and now my rankings for all of those keywords that I have had #1 just one week ago is slipping to 4-5th position for most of them. Will this bounce back? Any help to what I have done wrong would be greatly apprecited. TIA!

    Yes, they can all bounce back.

    I'd be more concerned with adding new "original and unique" content to the site every day. Google can change their algorithm all they want, but they will always favor original and unique content.

    Google constantly changes their algorithm. Sometimes you'll wake up in the morning and see that you're ranking very well, better than you have in the past. Other times you'll see your products have completely fallen off the map.

    Some quick best practices for ranking well in Google Product Search:
    1) Update your feed daily
    2) Have good landing page SEO
    3) Update shipping and tax information (and don't lie!)
    4) Original and unique content, as stated above, helps a lot

    Google looks to provide their users with the best experience possible. If you work alongside Google to provide a great experience, you should benefit from it.
