JetSpinner Review Review by Andrew Coyne (MoreNiche Ltd) Please contact me if you any feedback: After asking around for an opinion on JetSpinner, and not getting very far, I decided to try my hand at Jetspinner.com to see if it works. Obviously my ultimate aim is to find a tool for my affiliates to use that will help them in their website optimisation stategies. Please note: I worked for an affiliate network called MoreNiche (http://www.moreniche.com) which is a affiliate network for a multitude of products, mostly diets pills and male enhancement products. Neither I nor MoreNiche as a whole have any relationship with JetSpinner whatsoever, and this review has been created for the benefit of our affiliates and to see if this is a useful tool for their promotional needs. What is an article spinner? An article spinner is a programme that will take an article you have written and jumble the words up to make multiple versions of the article. The aim being that you will now have 10-100 new articles, all based on the one article you have written, but each one unique to get around Google’s duplication penalties. There are two different types of article spinners; automatic ones which are instant but create unreadable content, or semi-manual ones (like JetSpinner) that will produce unique content that you control, but is more time consuming. About Jetspinner Free to use manual article spinner Jetspinner is a free to use semi-manual article spinning programme that will allow you to create multiple unique articles all based on just the one article you have written. This is done by manually inserting tags that tells the programme what words to use in place of other words. So for example you can tell the programme to use either the word ‘diet’, ‘slimming’ or ‘fat loss’ in the sentence “Sally took a (insert word here) pillâ€. This way the programme would have three choices when writing that sentence. • “Sally took a diet pill†• “Sally took a slimming pill†• “Sally took a fat loss pill†Now when you consider putting say 10 to 50 of these tags into your article, you can obviously create a vast number of articles, all different and unique to varying degrees. Also includes article submitter After you have created these duplicate articles, Jetspinner also has a programme that will submit your multiple articles into over 600+ article websites. As part of JetSubmitters free trial, you can use this service once and publish your articles to around 20 article sites (which is fair enough). The advantage of JetSpinner The selling angle of JetSpinner is that it is not automated. There are some automated spinning articles programmes out there, but the problem is that usually they are very simplistic… randomly changing any word with a loosely related word. As a result it would rewrite your article, but the article would be unreadable or not unique enougth. e.g. Before: As I tried the penis enlargement device, I noticed that the blood flow was steadily improving. My erections were longer and harder, and found that I was able to last longer in bed. Thanks to the 6 month guarantee I knew that nothing would go wrong. So thank you SizeGenetics! The advantage of Jetspinner is that because YOU choose the words, you have some degree of control ensuring that the article is indeed readable by humans and also unique. Testing Jetspinner Number of words in the article For this test I have decided to try and spin an article called “free device†which is a modified version of one of the articles in the MoreNiche resources section. Originally I was going to try and do this with one of our 600 word articles. However here lies the first problem with. This programme is not appropriate for large articles. You have to put in manual tags as often as you can… and with a 600 word article your more likely to give up than complete the job at hand. So I created a simpler 300 word article… and this was much more realistic in my mind. Inability to bold and add hyperlinks with anchor texts An initial problem, from a SEO stand point, is that the articles this programme creates are pure text. There is NO formatting (e.g. bolding or adding hyperlinks) allowed. This is a huge disappointment, but because the JetSpinner programme is going to publish these into multiple article sites later, I can see why they are doing this. So based on this above point, I suggest you make your articles relatively simple, as if you go onto manually add them to article sites, your still going to have to add formatting and hyperlinks into each article. To get around this, you can always wait for your articles to be successfully published and then go into each one and add the hyperlink later. This will be fiddly, but at least you know the article will all ready of been approved. How to insert alternate words into your spinning article To insert an alternate word / sentence into your article, you have to insert a symbol like looks like this {word1|word2}. Initially this is fiddly and time consuming… but then I guess that’s the sacrifice you make when you want to use a manual article spinner. In fact maybe I’m being harsh as when I got into the swing of things it wasn’t that bad. I merely prepared a series of blank “{|}†ready to copy and paste where I wanted to add multiple words or sentences. In addition I found myself copying and pasting previous tags I had already used. E.g. If I had written the sentence “To {enlarge|increase the size of|widen|lengthen}your penis†I found that I would end up using that tag multiple times in the same article anyway. So although the adding of the basic “{|}†tag is a simple an easy way to add multiple words to your spun articles, it is definitely more suitable for smaller articles. How long does it take? And just to give you an idea, it took around 35 minutes to insert these tags into a 250 word article. What is the quality of the mixed articles like? The quality of the mixed articles are fantastic. You can tell the programme to make as many spun articles as you want, but obviously the more you ask for, the less unique each will be. In my example I created 50 versions of the same article, and after a random check, I can confirm that each one I read was unique and different. However when you take into account the law of averages… surely Google will identify some as being too similar to one another. In my opinion though this is a acceptable downside. There is one MAJOR downfall though. Unfortunately there is an inability to re-edit the article you have just spun. So if you’ve told Jetspinner to process your article and then you see a typing error… tough… your screwed (or at least you have to recreate the article via copy and pasting, which is a bit of a ball ache). Crashing problems One thing I do want to mention, and feel it deserves it VERY OWN PARAGRAPH on, is that JetSpinner constantly crashed the day I was using it. So you can imagine how annoying this is… you put a few hours aside to test this supposively remarkable web product, only to be greeted with a message that reads “That didn’t work….†constantly It took me four attempts in a two day period to finally complete and submit my articles to the submitter programme. JetSpinner’s customer service Poor. If you want to get a quick question answered… you have to register on a completely separate site to do so. And you will have problems with JetSpinner…. Don’t get me wrong…. They will be little ones that can be answered in a two line email… but by creating these obstacles to getting your questions answered, the owners of the website are not doing themselves any favours. In addition I sent the owner of the website a PM via Digital Point. No reply. Finally I was sent an auto-email from the website’s owner asking me how I was finding the JetSpinner product so far. So I tried to reply to that to tell them any issues I had. Guess what? I get an auto reply back telling me that due to spamming they don’t accept emails anymore. The sad reality is that the makers of JetSpinner probably think they have the greatest article spinner in the world…. but only because no one can actually contact them to tell them what needs fixing!!! What’s the auto article submitting feature like? Currently can’t tell you because I only instructed JetSpinner to publish 20 of my articles yesterday. You get the option to tell JetSpinner how many articles to publish a day, so I have told it to submit 10 articles a day over 2 days. When / if the articles have been published, I will let you know how good / bad this part of the service is. So what’s the catch? How are JetSpinner making money from this? The JetSpinner article feature is FREE. However if you want to use their article submitting features, this will cost you. They also make money via a number of other services, including charging you for the service of adding the tags on your behalf… which is a nice feature. What I’m saying is this; the article spinner is FREE. Submitting it to multiple articles sites is not, and JetSpinner will offer you other services for a cost. But this is fair enough. In fact I would say that JetSpinner is charging for the right things and offering the right thing for free. So how much is the full system? Well here’s one of the most annoying things…. I CAN’T TELL YOU! After searching high and low on the site I could never find a page that said “to upgrade it will cost you $xxxxâ€. Any link I tried kept sending me to a sales page advertising the free trial. I could never actually reach the order page. As I continue my review… and if I ever find out… I will let you know. Summary…. What’s good and what’s bad? Really JetSpinner does exactly what is says on the tin. If you have an article and want 10, 20, 50 or 100 different versions of this article, this programme will do that job perfectly. The only downside is that the spun article will not be formatted, but I feel that is fair. Currently I am testing the article submitting part of the programme so will keep you up to date with how many articles successfully got sent out and accepted (which will be a hell of a test because I’m sending out articles on penis enlargement!). However I already know this; if the articles are submitted, the only way it will provide a backlink is if I have put a FULL web address (e.g. http://this-is-a-web-addy.com) and then only IF the article site is setup to create a hyperlink when seeing a web address. Therefore I suggest if you use this, this is how as an affiliate you would want to use it: 1) Write an article about 250 – 400 words in length. Remember to include a FULL web address in your article. 2) Use the JetSpinner programme to make 50 random copies and send it off via the article submitter. This way you can get the backlinks. 3) Use JetSpinner again on the same article and get 10 unique versions of your articles. Download these and manually add them to your chosen articles sites, remembering to include hyperlinks to your site on any anchor text keywords you are trying to optimise. Jetspinner might be way to go to build links, however that article might be read one of your customer and damage the brand name of your website. There should definitely be a option for formatting
Hi Andrew I went and tried out Jetspinner and I was shocked at the quality..wow..thank you for the great tips here. I did one article into 10 but it took me about two hours to get it right...Then with all that effort it really paid off..The articles were fantastic and really different. They are very well written because I got to choose the words that went in.
