Product Catalogue CMS - Any Suggestions

Dear DP Members,

I am searching for a reliable OPEN SOURCE CMS which will be a Online Product Cataloger manager.

If anyone has a custom built, please let me know.

 

I would suggest you laook at Drupal as CMS and at the Ubercart modules for your catalogue and other e-commerce facilities.

I am sure that past the initial and short duration pain with learning the framework, you will be able to build something very scaleable and very flexible.

 

Thanks, but I do not want Shopping Cart, Just an Online Cataloger Management.

 

I have a client that needed just a catelog with categories for their furniture.

I used Joomla as the core CMS www.joomla.org
and used Product Book extension at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/directory-&-documentation/directory/786/details

 

You could use drupal or if you have a host with fantastico enabled, they should have a shopping cart available for installation on your domain.
