I just wanted to share my experience with a processor i'm currently using for a software product. I'm very impressed with Stripe.com as a payment processor. I've gone through many of them over the years, and here are a few things that i'm happy about currently. They only charge a 3.5% processing fee, and they pay out to your chosen bank account daily. There is no catch to this, i can verify this has been running smoothly for quite awhile now. The other upside is account creation. The process is automated and approval is also automated. The downside to many processors is the long wait time for getting started. Another huge benefit if you have a developer in your pocket is the automation features. Stripe allows you to pay other people using their API. This has allowed me to pay affiliates in my own program automatically on a given schedule. This really takes the headache out of paying other people. Overall, i cannot say enough good things about Stripe. they have an interesting story, being created out of frustration with Paypal and it's restrictive policies. Hope this helps someone!
