    Hello!

I'm a new user of this fantastic forum :)

I have a question of apache:

    My httpd.conf is set:

    ServerRoot "/etc/httpd"
    Listen 80

    ServerLimit 20000
    Timeout 150
    KeepAlive On
    MaxKeepAliveRequests 200
    KeepAliveTimeout 15
    MinSpareServers 20
    MaxSpareServers 100
    StartServers 20
    MaxClients 800
    MaxRequestsPerChild 100000

how can I create processes that await visitors?

    Sorry for my English.

Assuming you're using prefork then right there will guarantee there is a minimum of 20 spare apache processes to handle requests. I would not advise setting this to high otherwise you have to many idle processes.
