Here's a statement from Darren Rowse. Rowse is actively promoting Stumbleupon, and he was banned. Readers contacted Stumbleupon, which later reversed its decision. "I’m a little put out that as someone who has actively promoted and used their service and even encouraged my readers to advertise on them that they simply banned me," he said upon learning of the error page people reached at StumbleUpon, which said ProBlogger had either been banned for abuse or upon request.
Maybe you should look at the date on a blog post before posting it as new news, might save ya some trouble in the future.
Well, I do. I have been a follower of his blog and not that I only learn from his posts. I am also getting some readers by joining his hundreds of commentators. And I also care when someone makes a post about someone but do not verify if it still true or not. I am just lucky not to be popular like Darren. This is not just about money, guys.
what is more annoying is that he was unbanned. i was banned for exactly the same reason as he we was and was told by stumbleupon that bans are unreversable regardless of the reason be it a mistake or other wise. so again its one rule for the little people and one for the slightly bigger ones
This is old. Darren was unbanned like three centuries ago. He was unbanned at 2 hours (I think) after the ban. That's because of all his supporters (which includes me). Well I think Darren have contributed a lot to the blogosphere. We can't blame the man for being popular.
He was banned unbanned and the story continues, these kind of things helps him to gain more traffic than he would have recieved from StumbleUpon
