Problems Xoom with Paypal .

    hello , now i send money in xoom trough paypal... and the money is refund inmediately.. i know all xoom.. all rules... verified paypal.. same name in paypal and xoom acc.. etc... in argentina xoom allow 100% pickup ... i call verification team xoom . and they say me the problem is with PAYPAL and XOOM no is for me.. one friend try send money and refund too... the verification team sayme more 1.000 accounts is affected... any have same experience??? mi last transaction is 7 days ago and is 100% perfect.

    What do u mean by that? Intra country transfer may not be allowed.

    i mean , xoom sayme the problem is with paypal and xoom , xoom have problems with paypal .. verification customer team sayme that... in argentina xoom allowed send money argentina-argentina to my self. i want any people have same problem!

    i believe the problem is with paypal as i am sure paypal denied the payment to xoom because of your suspecious activites.... this is the most common problem at xoom... xoom has no control over paypal's fund.. if paypal decide to deny a payment then nothing xoom can do to get the payment for you... but also make sure the address inside the xoom account and paypal account are both same.. and also make sure both name are same...

    more important: dont select Pickup location.. selete bank deposit only... this should solve your problem..

    From whole story i think selecting Pickup as a delivery method causing problem here. Try to select bank transfer or check delivery for argentina to argentina delivery.

    thanks for all answers . i call again to xoom... they say mi verification process is accepted . they say we have problems in pickup paypal money because he changed the rules.
    now xoom corporation use this form in paypal "You have authorized a payment to Xoom Corporation"

    This email confirms that you have authorized a payment to Xoom Corporation (customersupport@xoom.com) for using PayPal.

    Note:This is not a charge. Your account will be charged when the merchant processes the payment.

    You may receive multiple notifications as your merchant processes your order.

    for this .... xoom cant procees mi payment... any other people have same problem?. thanks a lot. sorry for mi english... i know is very bad hehe . thanks

    Yo fue usando xoom + paypal varias veces y desde abril 2008, las transaciones son bloqueadas. Xoom me dice que viene de paypal. Alguien sabe algo ?

    I said : same problem here, I've been using xoom & paypal many times (about 200 times in the past years) and since early april, I've tried two transfers and both have been canceled.
    On the first canceled transfer, I asked xoom through their web support, they answered that it had been canceled by the xoom verification team.
    So I called xoom directly in California (because the web support is outsourced in India, what's not very convenient) and the verification team told me "not at all, we approved this transaction", so I talked after to the customer service (the US one), and they didn't really know what to answer, but finally answered "due to a technical problem"...

    Well, I waited a week and tried another transfer = same problem.
    This time the web customer support answers that it's paypal who declined the transaction (that's not the truth since that on my paypal account the money is debited, and the transfer is pending completion on xoom's side).

    Ultimately, I faxed xoom in California but they never replied...

    There's something wrong with xoom (or another reason, but they give contradictory explanations)...

    Anybody has a clue ?

    amigo... luego de enviar 20 emails , de decirme todo lo habido y por haber..... al final yo mismo sin ayuda de ellos obvio porque ellos no ayudan nunca encontre la solucion no t digo todo lo q hice para saberlo... pero t lo digo directamente hace esto

    si envias 100 dolares , en tu paypal account tenes que tener 200 , no 199 , 200
    tenes que tener en tu paypal exactamente o mas del doble que le giras a xoom, me entendiste? cualquier cosa agregame y te explico mejor , saludos

    Thanks for the info about the double thing but where did you get it from ? (I don't put what you say at doubt but that's very odd to me).

    I just received an email from xoom :
    As a valued Xoom customer, we wanted to let you know our system experienced a temporary problem, which resulted in your recent transaction being canceled.

    When using Paypal to fund the transaction, an error occurred prohibiting your transaction to be processed.

    We have just resolved this issue and transactions are now being accepted and processed as normal.

    We apologize for inconvenience this has caused you and your recipient.


    So it seems it really was a temporary bug, I have not tried again yet (anybody who succesfully tries, please report here, thanks).

    yes , now the system work good. before u need have in pp account double money , but now work fine . i send one transaction and work perfectly , thanks
