Problems with www and without www!

    I am sorry if I am posting it at the wrong place.


    I have many domains hosted at godaddy. All give a unusual problem

    when I open
    http://www.web site.com it goes to godaddy parked pages ... which I was using earlier


    and when I open

    http://web site.com it goes to my hosting provider.

    I am not sure whom to contact and what to fix? I have already contacted my hosting provider and he has seen the dns zones and says they are fine.

    Now what do I need to inside my godaddy panel so that I can fix this issue.

    If you were using Godaddy parking recently and just switched to your hosting provider then what you are facing is perfectly normal. You will need to wait 24 to 72 hours for the changes you made to propagate to all the relevant DNS Servers around the world. Once that happens, everything would point to the new place.

    There is really nothing much you can do now apart from just waiting.

    This problem should be solved with your hosting provider. Just make sure you have both www.youdomain.com and yourdomain.com A records in your DNS zone.
    As eddy points, if this has already be done, just wait for the domain to resolve to the new DNS.

    If you really want to check, go to proxy.org and check a couple of web proxies to see if your domain is already resolving in other networks.
