Problems with Windows Update on XP or Vista systems.

    Hi,

    If you have some problems with windows update/security etc.., on XP or Vista systems, please write it here. I worked for support of Microsoft systems and i have some knowledge. Specialy in security...windows update....etc.

    Good thing is to paste errors from log in this post - C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log, that will be very help to me.

    I don't have an error but after the last update on my Vista laptop it seems to have slown down dramatically in all aspects. Is this a common problem?

    Do you have some antyvirus software installed on your Vista system?

    Maybe some program that runs with windows slowing down your system.


    Please check MSCONFIG and veryfiy what kind of programs runs with Vista on startup......
