    Hello,

Im having problems saving images in firefox. The problem is that I have to save an image twice. When it loads on the page and when I click "save image as" it doesnt just saves it on my hard drive, but it actually starts downloading it again.

Why not just copy it from temp folder? I tried clearing cache, but that didnt help. Any suggestions?

    thanks

Lets say I click on some image File.jpg, which is around 500 KB. It will open in a new tab and will load fine. Then, if I try to save it to my PC, I click "save image as", when I choose it the image starts downloading again in a download manager.

Now, if some image is 50Kb thats not noticeable, but if the size of an image is lets say 3 MB, then it pisses me off.

When I choose "save image as" in IE, it just saves it straight away to my PC without redownloading it.

    with all skins and add-ons??

just list down your skins and add-ons(that also serve as a back-up) before you re-install...
hmm, I know that always happens when you clicked on the image it will open on another tab, and when you try to save it, it will download again... don't you have "down-them-all" (add-on) on your firefox? it helps you manage your file in a more convenient way and it downloads all files almost 3x(depends on your internet speed)...

Really? I dont think so. Because before when the image was already loaded in a new tab it would just save it to my PC straight away (since it already downloaded it and loaded into the browser window!). But now, it re-downloads it, strange, maybe its a FF3 bug.
