Hi, I am facing problems with long urls while posting 'long url's" in my blogs and articles. Most of the links are getting wrapped up and this is creating severe problems for me. I dont know html..anyone can suggest any solution for this... ??
Yes sure. while putting the affiliate links, (http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.h...tsorg-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325) the links some times gets wrapped up
This should work for you: [URL="http://www.longurl.com"]short text[/URL] HTML: forums that accept html instead of BB code: <a href="http://www.longurl.com">short text</a> HTML:
it's not problem. google will look your html code . if you are linking like <a href="your url">your title</a> , it's not a problem
he said he didn't know html but most blog editors automatically, convert a link http://example.com to the html form <a href="http://example.com">dirkadirka</a>
Hey Superdude, the fly2.ws is working great for me. Thanks buddy for a very sweet and execellent tool to convert long and irritating urls to a short and simplified one
I believe seojourney and superdude are the same person pitching a url shortening service. Seriously, I have seen this many times. There is no reason not to use anchor text and just about every blog and forum shortens the url anchor text but keeps the url clickable. When I see these kind of things on my own forum, I usually check IP's and most of the time its the same person.
Hi andre75, Very Useful info that was. Can you pls tell more about IP checking and make sure that pitching can be done by same person? I run a forum and this info will be really useful for me..thax
Hi ANDRE 75..U there? ist a great info from ur side...Can you pls tell more about IP checking and make sure that pitching can be done by same person? I run a forum and this info will be really useful for me..thax
Yeah whatever. I am not a moderator here, so I can't check but I see these things on my own forum every day. Depending on the blog/forum software, there will be logs somewhere showing you what IP people came from. In phpbb there will be a little IP link next to each post.
Thanks Andre for the reply.I really want to know how it works? How do u detect duplicate posters in your forum? pls do reply thanks
