Problems with Keyword Tracker tool - API key problem?

    Hey Guys!

Set up an account for the Keyword Tracker tool today - got my Google API key (as per the set-up instructions - therefore new key) and fed it into the appropriate field in the KT profile page...

While I was adding keywords, I saw the following error message:

The request returned the following error:
Exception from service object: Invalid authorization key: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Have checked the API key number 3 times and copy/pasted it over - the API key no. is correct...

Anyone got any idea why this might be happening?

    Many thanks,

    Dom

I'm trying to register for the Digital Point Keyword tracking tool. I'm told I need a Google API in order to register. I go to my existing Google account & search APIs. There are 36 options & I do not know which is correct. Any Help out there?

Were you able to obtain soap API? I thought I had read it was no longer available.

PS: I read that SOAP was not available also, however I see it listed.

If you can get a SOAP API by all means get it. That is what is required for keyword tracker, I believe.

I had read somewhere that Google was phasing SOAP one out and only AJAX one now available.
