You should wait a few weeks to see if things change if nothing changes you should consider getting a new domain name.
ohk ... currently I'm using digg and reddit .. digg works wonders for faster indexing. well I don't know anything about RSS feed installed and use a service like ping-o-matic to ping your blog or website actually .. one imp. thing is when we google for RSS or bookmarking methods/guidelines - we usually find zero valid results. it takes us to random blog posts or affiliate pages. I always wonder how can i get some proven valid advice about these things. please explain a bit the "RSS feed installed" and "ping-o-matic to ping your website". My website is two years old, i know all about getting steady BL. Just guide me some more about bookmarking - RSS + Ping thanks
hi, just submitting your site to social book marking sites not enough to get your site crawled if you have duplicate content then it's very hard for google robot to crawl your pages. Be very white handed while designing a site and also when you upload the data because mirror site are also not crawled by google..
I would think adding your site to Digg could work as this would speed the process up quicker but if it is not showing after a day or so i would also advice changing your domain as the Big G has the biggest slice of the traffic on the internet the domain option would be the wisest move.
changing the domain name is not in my future plans i`ll wait and do anything possible to get working with this domain name @Simrn: if you use wordpress you`ll se an option In the Settings menu Update Services where is a list o ping servers. You should search on google for a better list and update it. It will ping servers every time you publish a new post.
It never been happend commonly, but there is big chance that your domain name has been banned by Search Engine bcoz of any reason, by the way i m comming back and willing to check your site and then again gonna comment you ... keep waiting for some time and never lose your courage for more work for site
check your robots.txt file may be add your index url just remove this url and other thing check your site not go in google sandbox
I'm sorry everybody but, Just freaking read the previous posts before you post the exact same thing that has been said dozens of times before, ok? I think Digital Point would benefit from it.
I was getting worried about a domain i bought 5-6 days back that it was not included in google as the domain was nearly a year old but i added it to Digg and few other high profile sites and within the last hour it has been included i am well pleased
Mega is right on. Google TRYS to ignore new domains. The only way you get out of the "sandbox" is to have a high PR site link to you. OR tons of smaller blogs. HOW to do that... is another issue
Hey, You shouldn't worry so much about your links on social bookmarking sites and the whole sandbox thing. I do respect your opinion, Razor, but don't be such a pussy. I'll do a little something that usually get my sites indexed within 2 - 16 hours. So I'll check up on your site tomorrow... Best wishes - Siflur
Mate... I know what I'm talking about. Yes, not being indexed doesn't necessarily mean you are sandboxed, but lately it's what google has been doing.
I think late indexing = content not being noticed by google as authority[not unique or highly competitive niche] boring title and wrong keyword density, no backlinks to newer pages, no enough internal links to the new page, ect. like there could be lot of factors. so the best strategy is leave it over google, it ll ultimately get indexed within a month or so. Do collect some good backlinks for the new page. put a lnik towards it from your home page or any other highly trafficked pages.
You said boring titles could cause a late indexing. And I replied with ironi to tell you that it isn't true.
oh I cee v well said mate ... mmm .. probably I've used the wrong word. by boring titles, I didnt mean unattractive for users but i mean unattractive for search engines [having NO or inappropriate KW or too long or too short page titles matters ... thanks
i think i`ve done my homework regarding seo and stuff like bad titles or bad keywords i don't think to be the motive of my indexing problem . i have a webiste where the only content is 2 pictures and 2 input boxes and it got indexed in a couple of hours after i`ve submitted to stumble.
