I'm trying to watch a few clips on a site that uses camtasio or something. It says I need to have enabled javascript in my browser and have the latest version of flash. I have enabled java and followed the link provided to download flash, the "installation complete" video comes on so I assume I have it working. However, when I go to view the video again it says the exact same, I've tried restarting my laptop and it remains the same. Has anyone had this issue before or know how to fix it? Cheers for any help Richard
can you tell the website that you are visiting ? this is the link where you should download the flash player plugin http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash and from here you should install the shockwave plug in http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi I just wanted to know what browser are you using,(hope you are not using any beta version of FF).
i suppose u mean Camtasia. this only happens in internet explorer, with Flash Player v9.0.16 or earlier. install flash player v9.0.28 or newer to resolve this problem for the viewer. The error message will display if the ExpressShow embedded in HTML with the Full Screen option enabled. To prevent this error, in the Flash Options > Controls dialog deselect the Full Screen option when producing ExpressShow embedded in HTML.
