Is anyone else having a problem with SEO Quake when searching for quality links, I am using Firefox version 3.6.8 but when I click on Yahoo LD, I get an error on Yahoo stating my computer is using malicious software (but it isn't) it only seems to happen when I use SEOQuake!

Or is there a work around I can do, as I cant seem to check yahoo links for PR, etc using seo quake.

When I used SEO Quake, I found other problem but not observed about this problem you mentioned.

I had a problem of sending automated requests to Google to retrive seo statistics by SEO Quake and then after few minutes later, my Google is temporarily blocked my IP to take the search queries & to show Google cache of a web page.

    Hi there,

Here are recommendations how to manage these issues:

    1. The best way to prevent Google's ban is to set up "load parameters" on request (Preference>SeoTollbar/Seobar> load parameters - on request)
Please watch also our tutorial video: youtube.com/watch?v=A8evk-tPBbs

You can also inactivate SeoQuake when you don't need to use: just make a left click on SeoQuake icon in lower right corner of you screen (icon has to become grayed).

    2. This issue usually happens because Yahoo bans you due to a big numerous of queries done at very short period of time.
To avoid it we recommend you to set Parameters request delay up to 5000 ms for example. (make a right click on SeoQuake icon in the lower corner of your screen>Preferences >Advanced> Parameters request delay).
Also you may try to set up parameters "on request" (make a right click on SeoQuake icon in the lower corner of your screen>Preferences>Plugins>Seobar/Seo Toolbar> Load parameters on request)

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at
