Problems setting up Google Analytics

    I have decided to test out Google Analytics. I uploaded the code for tracking to all the site pages, but when I click on "Check Status" to validate the site nothing happens. It says waiting for google like something is actually happening but it doesn't progress further. I have ensured the analytics code has been added correctly to the source code. Has anyone else had any dramas setting it up?

    edit: Nevermind, I eventually got this message which explains things:

    Google Analytics reporting is currently undergoing maintenance and will be available shortly. Your site traffic is being logged and you will be able to see the data after system maintenance has concluded.
