im a verified premier member but i got this email now

As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the
PayPal system. During a recent screening, we noticed an issue regarding
    your account.

We are very sorry, but in accordance with the PayPal User Agreement, we are
no longer able to have you as a customer.

We have had to close your account for the following reason:

We have detected suspicious activity regarding the receipt or withdrawal of
    funds.

We apologize for any inconvenience this account closure may cause. You may
still log in to PayPal to view your transactions history and personal
    information for a limited time.

The funds in your account will be held for 180 days, due to the risk of
outstanding chargebacks and complaints. After 180 days, any remaining funds
will be available to you for withdrawal.
For your protection, we have limited access to your account until
additional security measures can be completed. We apologize for any
    inconvenience this may cause.

To review your account and some or all of the information that PayPal used
to make its decision to limit your account access, please visit the
Resolution Center. If, after reviewing your account information, you seek
further clarification regarding your account access, please contact PayPal
by visiting the Help Center and clicking "Contact Us".

We thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please understand
that this is a security measure intended to help protect you and your
account. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    Sincerely,
    PayPal Account Review Department

You still have the hope of getting your money back from Paypal. It will be better to make a call to paypal now. Tell them why you are using paypal and from where you are getting funds etc. If you have received payment from any adult site it may be possible that because of this your paypal account has been made limited.

Moneybookers are another scammer. They closed my account. When I called them for clarification they replied that they have "sufficient grounds" to close my account. But they never informed me what "sufficient grounds" they had to close my moneybookers account. Their reply was not supportive also.

For me moneybookers was more reliable. My moneybookers account was verified with address and linked with my bank account. When I was asked for documents I send them scanned copy of my National ID Card and utility bill also. But they didn't considered them before closing my account.

I had money in my moneybookers account when they closed the account. When I asked for my money they replied that they cut my account balance as their repair charge. They are the biggest scammers for me now.

I am telling this because in paypal you still have the possibility of getting some money back after 6 months.

Sorry..to hear that...but if you are in USA...Get a lawyer..if you have big money in there and if your business will get effected if paypal closes your account.

No body can't just throw you out..without giving valid reason..its not dark ages..you have laws here to protect the rights of consumers.

agreed..it will cost you more to hire a lawyer..but if you think you are right..then why fear..you will get conpensation from paypal for taking you into all this mess.

Good Luck....dont' waste your time calling them...they wont hear you

There is absolutely no need to worry in this case. PayPal will not be stealing your money at all and you will be able to withdraw your funds once the matter settles down.

180 days is an official limit. Usually the cases are solved before these and you will be having full access to all your account.

It will NOT be closed because they have just limited its access in the sense, you can no longer withdraw some funds or perform other transactions that you were earlier able to. The account access will be taken off after the certified limit or before that.

I'll suggest you to contact them and they will surely help you. They often perform such investigations for maintenance reasons and there is absolutely no need to worry. If you were not involved in any transaction that were against their terms, you will be safe. Talk to their representative stating your problems regarding limited account access. They will be compensating you for sure in some way.:)

e-gold has the policy of closing accounts without any reasons and as a customer, you have zero protection.

Incidentally, what kind of account did you use, personal, premier or business ? How was it verified ? Did you use the Buy Now button, Subscription, Request Money, Email Invoice or Send Money option to receive funds ?

Sympathies to you this is a story that has been heard before i never leave too much in the way of funds in my account just in case it happens to me and you could do a lot worse than have some back up plans in place so your business would be able to continue should the worst happen.

Sorry for that, I don't think that there is any another way to do it instead just give refunds to all buyers or cash the money after 180 days!

    1. Your money is safe! its not going anywhere. you just need a key to the door. behind the door there lies your money and it will lie there unless you take it out.
    2. You can create a new paypal account and they wont limit you. paypal has a problem with the same machine and internet ip. if you can somehow arrange a new e mail address, a new machine and a fresh internet connection. also a new bank account and a new credit card. ufcourse you have to do the ground work.
if u feel this has helped you, good for you.
If u need more assistance let me know!
