There is a problem in Google now a days we cannot create gmail account we have to submit our mobile number to create gmail account but when we submit our mobile number confirmation code does not comes ... i hope it will be solved soon !!!!!!!!!!
I waited for 5 days for my new individual posts to be spidered in Google search engines but so far none. I guess it could be my blog is new with less than 100 posts and I only have 10 backlinks. It's frustrating but Google can change the rules whenever they want so my advice to you is be patient or try another alternative. Another reason is Google could be having technical problems, such as your sms not getting thru or they are unable to attend your requests immediately. My earlier postings take weeks for Google to spider and include in search engines and I think the best you can do is just wait for their response.
I just helped my two newbie friends creating their Gmail accounts, the text confirmation from Google came within few seconds. There is no problem too with this method, Google only ensuring real person and probably the country/place they are signing up.
