I keep have this problem after I comment on a blog, press submit and it goes to a blank white page . The page is usually: http:// somesite.com/ wp-comments-post.php So, has my comment got through? Why does it not go back the original page and show my comment? Whats with the blank page? Thanks.
You can always refresh the page to see if your comment went through or come back in a couple of days in the event that the comments are moderated. There might be a problem with a plug-in in wordpress or something. I never really saw this happening to me. Have you tried using another browser. If with another browser all works nice then you should clear your cookies and cache. I did see stuff like this happening because of cookies but not really in the way you describe it. Hope that will solve your problem!
Thanks for that. Like the idea of using another browser. I'm using Firefox 3.0 at the mo, Ill try Chrome or (urgh!) Internet Explorer, see if that works better . Thanks. I've had this happening on serveral blogs now, when I have tried to comment. Its really annoying when you write a long genuine comment, then this happens. I'm sure the comment is not getting through at all.
You have been banned by Akismet. Changing browser etc. won't help. If you are spamming blogs with a lot of comments, you might get a blank page after some time. Contact them to get your domain unbanned
i am facing same problem but on some blogs not on all blogs. it must be some difficulty from those blogs because i have not used to comment on them before.
