    hi all,

i have this wordpress site and i want to back it up exactly as it is, I want to put the exact same site and thems files on many other domains.

i have tried the wp backup plugin but it just sits there, doing nothing. i use 2.6.3 version of wordpress. maybe its incompatible?

i know how to go into phpmyadmin and back it all up, but when i go to reinstall on another domain i get all kinds of sql errors. Like "headers already sent" and similar messages.

    IM STUCK!!!

    Anyone able to help?

Yes, the only thing it wont grab is your settings.

You can easily "CLONE" a Wordpress site, try to make a full site backup using the Backup feature in your hosting cPanel and then "Restore" this backup on your other sites, you need to restore the wordpress files and database together. Also you will need to tweak a bit your wordpress database to use a different domain after restoring it, you can do this using phpmyadmin to change the settings in the wp_options table.

    Good luck

actually in the first type of setting , you would not be able to get even your blogroll working and even your plugins. After this you would need to download wp-conten/uploads/ folder as well so as your images and items you uploaded are safer otherwise on new domain the images won't show up.

In second method it is advisable that you take help from a good person who can help you with everything in PHPMyadmin other second method will stuck you as you are currently .
