    Dear Experts!

Hope all of you will be fine and shine. I know this question has been asked plenty of times but it seems there is no proper solution.

I just migrated my theme from elegant to woo and I am facing with the title problem and most probably yoast SEO plugin is causing this problem.

1: With each post, the title of the post is appended with the title of the site.

    <Title>Post Title + Site Title </Title>

2: When I enable the force re-write option of the plugin, all the posts have the same title accross the site.

    <Title> example </title>

Please help in the regards. What should be done to overcome the issue.

I used to use Yoast, but it has many bugs, and also will slow your site down. I recommend Greg's High Performance SEO, you will get top rankings if you use it. :)

Have you check the the other rewrite options to tell it what to actually rewrite the title too?

In the plugin options go to "TITLES" and then edit your titles from there.

Example for the POSTS template i have these setup this way:

    Post
    Title template: %%title%%
    Meta Description: %%excerpt%%

Force rewrite titles.... i have this unchecked.

You should get help over at the YOAST website for this. You could have a issue with your template and it's not the plugin.
Do you have proof it slows down your site? I've had Yoast for many months now and noticed no slow down of my sites performance. I know sometimes my host has a few hiccups or other plugins slow it down. I have fairly good rankings and don't use Greg's plugin.

Don't matter what type of SEO plugin you have, it won't give you top rankings at all. It's your link building tactic's and writing original content that gets you rankings and not nailed by Google Panda.
