I have sent 770 USD via xoom to one of my friend at Wednesday. My funding source was PayPal. Thursday morning my friend went bank to cash pickup but bank said no money from Xoom for him. But in Xoom tracking showing money has been picked up already at 9 am morning. I have contacted with Xoom customer support and they said they need 4 business days to solve this issue. Should I open a paypal dispute for this or I should wait?
Xoom has implemented a new system for disbursement, i faced the same sort of problem though it was fixed in two days. So i believe you should wait and have a look what happens. It should be fixed by them. Xoom is quite supportive and note if you open a dispute, xoom will blacklist your Paypal email and will cancel your future transactions. So better give them sometime
wait 4 days then and give the time xoom needs.... trust me your friend will get the money as soon as xoom fix the problem... i am really happy with xoom.... as they always solve my problems within few days... so dont worry they will solve your problem as well... just wait and give them the time they need...

I have called few times...no results...just telling me we are trying to solve this issue. We will let you know as soon as possible. I have sent them few email no reply. Now I have opened a dispute in paypal. Let see what happen.
Great that you received back you money. One thing is for sure that XOOM is really trusted and reputable as far as i know. There must be some delay from them but no scam anyway. DON.
you said that you received money... but where...?? as you opened the dispute so refunded in paypal... or finally you have the money transferred... do clarify this...
Yeah, I'm interested to learn about this as well. Did you friend received the money or they refunded your paypal money. I'm also using xoom service to send money so this issues concerns me as well although I have never faced it. Do share your experience.
This is due to sometimes some transaction stuck in their transfer transaction system as i heard once from their support team. So if any deal you found there you can call them and let them know of this.
