So I have a question and I really hope someone can help me with it.

On my blog, everything looks fine, layout wise in Firefox. In Internet Explorer however, the navbar is positioned all the way at the bottom, rather than on the right.

I've searched and searched to try and find the answer to this, and I've tried every tweak I've seen mentioned.

Can anyone take a look at it and tell me what I might do to fix the problem?

    Thanks

Hi I faced the same problem before when I tried to play around with the positioning of adsense. Everything looked fine in FF, but it was a disaster in IE. A friend later on told me that, that is becasue the way IE understanding a php code is different from those of FF, or , which are originated from the source of modzila, so it shows page differently. So, nowadays, whenever I try to play with the page, I will try in IE 1st......

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hmm, the sidebar shows OK for me (IE7), except for the MyBlogLog widget, which is a mess :)

hmmmm . . . ok. Thanks. Maybe it's a peculiarity of older versions of IE.

Yeah, Firefox (which I think is the best browser right now) is very good with PHP. Every browser interprets PHP, HTML, etc in different ways. If there was only one way to interpret these markup/net languages, there wouldn't be so many browsers available.

When I make any significant changes to my blog's layout, I *always* look at it in Firefox, IE, and Safari (the latest version of all of these mind you). Also, whenever I'm at someone's house or at work, I like to just view my blog there to see how it looks on other systems.

I have a page on my blog (www.thedivertex.com) that addresses trouble viewing the blog. In that page, I tell people what resolution/browser I use to design the blog as well as what they should use to see it the best. My best advice is to make sure that the blog looks good in FF and IE on 1024x768 resolution.
