Problem with wordpress & adding new content

Everytime I try to add a new page/post it always say:

"Your attempt to edit your post "..." failed. Please try again"

It does save it and put it as a draft and I have to go into the post again and save it again for it to become live on my website, has anyone had this problem before or know how I could fix it?

same problems with me in 2.5 version. normally it because of auto save tools and it need to save the permalink before u can post it. so wait a sec for them to dispaly permalink.

 

They have installed auto-save there, you do not need to save it again and again.

 

I never faced this type of problem.
I am using 2.5.1
May be there is problem with your server

 

Which version you are using? In version 2.5 there have some problem like this. Thanks.

 

Try to upgrade to 2.5.1. It has a lot of bug fixes.

 

I think that I am running 2.5.1 now, I'll take a look to see if it did fix itself as I haven't posted a new post in a while.

I've not encountered this problem myself but I'd have thought any wordpress questions were best asked over at http://wordpress.org/support/

In fact, if it's a common problem, you'll probably find it's already been asked and answered there.
