Problem with Web Interface

 Hi guys! I am new to Optigold and I am trying to get it setup for our small ISP. I have FileMaker Pro 6 and the latest Optigold installed and I have followed the web installation instructions and redid the instruction several times and still I am unable to bring up the web interface pages. It says server not found. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks
    Val

Have you gone through Appendix B (the web server config section) in the user's guide?

If you physically go to the machine you have running Unlimited, open a web browser and go to http://localhost does anything happen?

Hmmm... are you logged into Optigold as your web server employee on the web server machine? Can you double check that Web Companion is enabled and what port it's running on?

Yup, checked that several times too. It is running on port 8080 at the moment but I have tried 80 too. The only thing in my event viewer that makes me even wonder is the Windows Login Service was terminating.

Well, nothing would be in your event viewer. To be honest, I'm not really sure. What if you turn off Web Companion and then turn it back on?

Nope, I didnt make sure that the folders were deleted when I uninstalled everything. Think it is holding some strange setting somewhere?

Do you have a software based firewall (like the one built into Windows 2003) on the machine?

Not sure. You might need to give FileMaker a call, because you would need to be able to enable the Web Companion before Optigold will be able to do any web serving through it.
