Hey, i got very strange problem.

I move mu site from Dreamhost to new server , my friend server who can setup all things on it.

Anyway i migrate my site, this is the link: http://guistyles.com/index.php

Now i got this really strange problem. Strange because from time to time ones it works good and ones not. What is the problem, when it is good page works for www and without www URL and it is ok. Next time when i go to page the www doesn't work and the page archives images and some others doesn't worj.

This is the true story, i check that on 2 computers at home, one in work and one friend also check it.

So maybe you got some advices how to solve that.

    I show here server info:
    Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.0
    MySQL version 5.0.27-standard

Hope to get here some answers :)

Not sure if this is the reason, but often issues with "www." are related to subdomain settings with your DNS server. Or it might be an Apache problem, like you think. If you have access to your DNS server, check the settings, or post them here - beware of giving away any personal information though.

Also, do you have any .htaccess files? If so, can you post any non-private content here?

Update: "http://www.guistyles.com/" gives a directory listing for the folder "/" - this seems to suggest, to me, an issue with your DNS server, since obviously the real top folder contains some files - it looks as if another server is returning results for the "www..." subdomain. Hmm... post anything related to "DNS" and "subdomain". I'm confused too!

    Help!

I think (not for sure) that the problem is solved.

I buy this domain in firm x, got it in admin panel in dreamhost and next change DNS to onother hositng. I don't delete it from dreamhost which could be the reason of all that.

Anyway now i am waiting to see if it will be ok or not.
