I was hosting my site http://xyz.com with hosting company "A". It was installed at "/public_html/blog2/". Now it was stripped of its PR because I used PPP and other paid services. So i thought of making a new blog. I decided to upgrade my account with my hosting company "a" so that i can host multiple domains with them. Now i bought another domain and went to my cPanel and chose "add a addon domain" and added my new domain "http://pqr.com" to the upgraded hosting account. I installed it at "public_html/pqr.com". Now yesterday i discovered that a subdomain (i dint make any myself) was formed by the address "http://pqr.xyz.com" This subdomain was redirecting to my new domain "http://pqr.com" I logged into my cPanel and removed the redirection but again it redirected to "http://pqr.com" 1. Why at all the subdomain was formed? 2. How do i disable the subdomain i did not make myself 3. Most important: WIll the subdomain of google slapped domain redirecting to my new domain have any effect on indexing and PR prospects of my site? Is their any harm at all with redirection? I made this new blog all for the reason to get a PR blog. I dont want to mess it up.
