    Hi everyone,

We have a problem with tracking sales on a customers site - who take both telephone and online orders for their products. We are responsible for their SEO and are looking to show the client how our improvements to search engine results has increased their conversions.

We can track sales that go through the shopping cart, but if a customer rings up the company and carrys out a phone order after visiting the website we would not get credit for this sale.

What recommendations would have to combat this problem? We were thinking along the lines of adding something to the ordering system that asks the customer where they heard about the company, and if they found it through search engines we would get credit for helping generate the sale.

    Thanks,

    Scott

What about some small discount? Clients will see a coupon code on the website and he will mention this code to get the discount.
