Hello everyone, I am a new user to these forums and this may be a really stupid question but I would really appreciate any help. Forgive me if this has been covered before but I tried a search and didn't get any results. Here's my problem, Optigold caculates the sales tax on all my products to more than 2 decimal places. As money can only be represented by 2 places it is causing the final price to be incorrect. I tried adjusting the price of my product with additional decimal places to offset the tax calculation which works for the total on the invoice but causes the invoice to show figures that do not tally correctly. I hope that all this makes sense and would really appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on this for me and what I could do to solve this problem. Thanks Silly me I forgot to mention that I am using Optigold ISP 2.5.4 for Mac OS 9
More than 2 decimal places for sales tax calculations is by design. Although it should reflect properly on the invoice. Can you attach a screenshot of the invoice?
Here is a small screen shot of our invoice as you requested. You will notice that the 2 figures being shown do not add up to the total on the invoice. Now the total however, is the correct figure and the tax should be $16.30 and not $16.31 Thanks again
The screenshot does not show the total for me. What is the total of the invoice, and what's the tax rate?
