Hi, I would like to use my own system to track any results from my banner campaign. For some reason when I add the link to digital point advertising system, it breaks, meaning the URL gets cut in the middle and as result doesn't lead to the right page. I've tried using google shorten but it doesn't help. Placing the URL on a regular browser works fine. Why is that? I will not be able to run my campaign without solving this issue. Best, Noga
If it's doing the same thing with a Google shortened URL, it's most likely as issue with your browser. Or with the copy/paste of the URL you are using. There is nothing on our end that would split a URL, and can't imagine there is one on Google's end either.
Hi Shawn, Still no luck (trust me, I know how to "copy paste"..) looks like you don't allow redirected URLs... which makes it a problem for us to run campaigns with you. so, I would like a reference as to who should I contact in order to get a refund.
You can use a redirecting URL as far as the ad system goes. If you want to post it here so I can take a look, wrap it in the CODE BBCode and it should be fine.
That would be great - here you go - I've added a space after the http:// just so I'll be able to post that URL so when testing it please make sure to remove it. thanks http:// network.adsmarket.com/click/jGlrmWOcqZiKY22XX8p6w4iQap5jnXqajGKYmWaefZuJkHKVX517w49na5tfnA
I queried the database, and I don't see any ad that contains "adsmarket.com"... Do you happen to know the ad ID in question? Also, what browser are you using?
Hi Shawn, I'm using Chrome. I couldn't find the ad ID but I was able to edit the URL in a way that got pass the first step - so it seems to be directing properly now. Yet, I'm not sure if the campaign is active. What are the next steps after I've uploaded a banner, choose the forum and bidding? Best, Noga
Just make sure the ad is enabled (click the "Enable" link on it if you see it). https://advertising.digitalpoint.com/advertiser?action=ads
