problem with SMF

    Trying to install SMF,i have all files on my server ,i changed atributes to 777,and when im trying to start instalation ( http://www.madprofit.com/forum/install.php ) im getting message

    what is wrong i tryed everything ?

    The error was pretty specific.
    You need to make absolutely certain that all the files located in the folder "/forum/Themes/default/languages" have been properly uploaded

    I've had this happen to me before.
    I had to go in and upload each folder and subfolder separately and their contents at times.
    I would try a reload first but if that doesn't work then you may have to count files.

    I agree. Check your installation folder to see if the language files are present, then reload them if they're not. There shouldn't be a need to reload the whole script though, unless you're going to uninstall SMF then reinstall it.

    download a fresh copy from smf site n then try again. maybe u have a corrupt install folder.

    I really doubt that's the case. It's far more likely that the FTP client "choked" on the upload.
