Problem with SEF 404 component and 'index.php'

I need a quick fix on my Joomla 1.5.15 site. I currently have SEF404 installed. When I click on a menu item/link, Joomla uses the URL http://domain/index.php/page1.html, and the page appears corrupted, with the template/CSS all screwed up. here's an example - http://bit.ly/b5mU9R. However, without the 'index.php' in the URL, the page loads absolutely fine. Not sure if I haven't properly configured SEF404, or Joomla's global configuration, or whether something else is causing the problem. I'll happily pay someone who can tell me how to fix this problem.
