Problem with SCAM

Hello, I was scammed out of about $66 from a member SEO Services. His thread where he offered the service has been erased and we are unable to warn others. Basically, without that thread he looks like a pretty good guy with about 20 posts and zero iTrader. I feel that he should be banned outright and/or at least other should be able to be warned as myself any others were scammed out of money by this joker.

Can you tell me why the thread was removed and what good it does if all the rest of this threads and post remain?

    Thanks in advance.

No idea who you are talking about or what thread you are talking about. Did you leave the negative iTrader already?

Don't you think that erasing his thread works better. It's possible that even If you did warn everyone that it's a scam, few people would still buy his product.

But yeah, for something like scamming, the consequences should be greater than just deleting his thread.

your referring to seo@services, and their stuff keeps getting deleted because they pad post their post count to get into BST. so we delete the fluff and if there isn't enough posts left to allow then to start threads in BST, their threads are deleted.

i'll restore the last thread they made, Closed of course, and you can leave negative iTrader.

Originally the thread was removed before I could leave the negative iTrader, so I could not send you anything, sorry.

I wish he would get banned, but I am sure he will just pop back with a new identity and start all over again. I think he has been doing it already as I was looking in my previous PMs and I saw a package that matched up identically as his, but that thread had been removed also, so I thought maybe I was just loosing my mind.

THANK YOU - left negative iTrader just a moment ago. Also, thank you for the explanation as it helps to better understand where those threads go.

This was the first time in many, many transactions with DP members that I had been ripped off. It was a mistake that cost me.

Also, just a quick idea for the forum. Since so much business goes on what about the idea of an escrow account for services (or goods) being purchased? The forum could make money by collecting a small percentage and it would do away with most, if not all the scammers. You may say there are already services that do that, but if you offered one on the forum it may get used more as many people do not use these services for smaller transactions. Just a thought...:)
