Problem with product images not loading in OsCommerce, Please Help.

    Hey,

    I have a problem with OsCommerce,

    My product images are loading for old products, but now I am trying to add a new product and the pictures don't load at all, not thumbnail, and not the full version.

    Please it should be something real easy to fix, but I can't get my hands on it.

    Maybe one of you guys with more experience/knowledge can help.

    check to see if the folder path is correct to the new pictures.
    Make sure same name images dont exist betwen old and new ones. Sound sliky uo have a bad path though.

    example: My_Images_Folder/New_Product_images/some_image.jpg

    If your images were in that pretend example path. ..and if your script is still calling them to be loaded from a different path like My_Images/Old_Product_images/some_image.jpg

    That's probably your problem and is usually the first thing to check when your images have little red [x] boxes :D

    Where can I check that, on what files would I be making a change in the path??

    Check on the includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php

    See if they have appproriate value for DIR_WS_IMAGES
    ie. check the statement: define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

    Also, if the old images are showing up, but not the new ones, first thing to do would be to check the where are the images of the old products. and apply the same to the new ones.

    Are you sure the product images are uploaded when you add them? Check where are they uploaded.

    yes, its working now.
    Just FYI, your image location still has "//"

    i.e Like: http://domainname.com//images/P6322___hero.jpg

    you probably have a leading '/' in the following line in the configuration files

    define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', '/images/');

    change it to

    define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
