Recently I got my ebay listing disputed. Paypal money was on hold.. after 5 days Customer support decided the dispute was to my favour. after 48hrs the money was still on hold.. Been contacting paypal and ebay. 1 week passes.. money still on hold. Got a reply from paypal telling me to contact ebay directly.. Constantly contacting ebay via email and their live support, but they keep saying they will check.. keep waiting.. and getting no reply from ebay saying why its still on hold.. What do I do? Im frustrated..
i have been in a similar situation before, the problem lies in the fact that both the companies will be dependant on each other and they will lack someone who can coordinate at the same time for the retrieval of the money. Now since it is your money, it is recommended that you stop sending e mails to Ebay and start calling them and tell them to initiate the process of reimburesement in your account from that moment onwards. After the process is initated, get in touch with paypal and brief them up for the situation and ask them to update you on the new developments in the case. Above this, you should drop a mail to paypal saying that since you are a customer for the bank, it becomes their duty to make sure the interest of their customers are secured and ask them for grievances *(charges). this should be enough to get your money in 24 - 36 hours being reflected in your paypal account.
